How to do a meta-analysis
Here are some tips for conducting a meta-analysis of literature reviews:-
===============
1. Narrow down the range (time period) of Journal articles
2. Narrow down the Journal title(s) and/or research field/perspective
3. Define and explain the target sample (other exclusion criteria)
4. Cross-tabulate other keywords to justify validity of sample
5. Recognize & acknowledge the limitations of relying only on article keywords
===============
Beyond these 5 comments, always make extra efforts to demonstrate originality. Although the method chosen is a Literature Review, more could be done to emphasize the Author’s original thinking via a new application of an existing framework etc
